In the 33 years since its establishment as the first University-level department for Music Studies in Greece, the School of Music Studies has developed into a multi-faceted centre for educational, research and creative initiatives in the field of music, introducing innovative methodologies in educational experience, and preparing highly skilled young educators, composers, researchers and music professionals.
