The School's staff and graduate students have a strong track record of developing and participating in research projects, either individually, or in partnership with other Higher Education departments and institutions, as well as public and private sector bodies.

  • Music 4 Change: Sustainability in Music Research and Education (2022-2025). Erasmus+ KA220. Partners: University of Bergen – Grieg Research School of Interdisciplinary Music Studies, The University of Edinburgh, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, University of Groningen, Gustav Mahler Private University for Music, Creative Mentorship (Serbia).   • MELOS – Greek music audiovisual collections (2022-2024). The project MELOS aims to create, develop, and interconnect Greek digital music libraries and knowledge repositories with a view to developing a “world of music ontologies” for use and re-use by the music industry, academia and general public.   • Sounds Now (2019-2022). Creative Europe.
