Yiannis Mantakas” choir is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, organizing a festive concert that will take place on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 8 p.m. in the Ceremony Hall of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The choir was established in 1953. It continues its activity with concerts and events in Greece and abroad. The legacy of Yiannis Mantakas still guides the choral activities of Aristotle University, inspiring the creation of new choral ensembles, as well as the training of new talented choir conductors, which we will have the opportunity to watch in this concert.
